Hello Fall! Is this Months Paper Issues Plan on it challenge!

September reminds me of Pumkin Spice and everything nice. It's the beginning of a new season, a perfect opportunity to try something new, something Bold, something Beautiful. This Month Plan on it challenge will be Hello Fall.
I used the Fall Bouquet and Sunflower days by pebbles. I absolutely love all the the bright orange and Fall Yellows that is on the paper. I can almost feel the breeze and the leaves dancing in the wind as I was working on this planner spread.
Colored Leaves, sweaters, scarves, hot chocolate, bonfires, boots, crisp air, pumpkin everything and cuddling under blankets are all simple pleasures of fall. I tried to capture a little bit of fall in my planner by making paperclips from pebbles accent stickers and Jen Hadfield ephemera. Mugs, Woodland creatures all have a special place in my planner.
Summer is now passed and Fall is around the corner, I encourage you to show me your Fall planner Spreads on the Paper Issues Friends & Fan Face Book Group. Acorns, apple cider, cool weather, full moons, fog, love, rain, yellow, orange, brown, red, walks and cozy fires. I wish all of you a wonderful September. By entering your photos on the Plan on it Challenge on the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook Group PIFF you will be entered to win one of two gift cards to the shop. You have until October 1, 2016 to enter. Good Luck and Happy Planning.

Carpe Diem Planner Trio!!!!

Wow! I am so impressed. Violet, here on the blog today to share my new Carpe Diem Planners. The gold rings and charms take my breath away, there is a simple elagance to the new planners that I love. I couldn't choose which to share, thus, why I have to share all three in a fun creative planning layout.

First up is the Pink Ballerina by The Reset Girl. I used the new collection line to make a new dashboard. I stuffed my pockets with Bits and Pieces, Metal Clips, decorative clips, journaling cards. I even laminated the sticky notes and inserted them into the pocket. The Pinks and Orange and mint greens look so gorgeous in the planner.

Secondly, is the new Ivory Carpe Diem planner. When I open it, the quote "Choose to Shine" is the first thing I see, and how beautiful, that it is all in Gold. I chose to decorate this planner with the Posh collection line. The yellow, pink and Navy are a perfect combination.

Third, is the new Mint green Carpe Diem planner. One of the changes that I was so impressed with, was the whole planner being one solid color. I used all the same pieces to embellish all my planners. Another element that took me by surprise was  all the gold that is included in the journaling Card Elements and Paper products. This just adds just a bit more class to my planners and makes me one happy planner girl.

As I was taking my photos for the blog, I knew I wanted to take a photo of all the new paperclips that are now part of the new collection lines. I've said many times how much I love paperclips and you'll even see some I made. These truly make all the difference when planning.

Thank you all once again for stopping by the blog and taking the time to read and view my post. I really appreciate it. I hope I have inspired some of you to get your creative juices flowing and create something new. The new Posh and The Reset Girl Collections make it so easy.

August Plan on it Challenge

Hi! Everyone, August is here and I can't believe it. This months Plan on it Challenge is "The Beach Life".  I would love to see your planner spreads that are beach inspired. For this month I used Doodle "Fun in the Sun" It is so adorable and full of cuteness.

I decided to use my Traveler's Notebook for journaling this month and made some inserts. I started by cutting up and trimming the paper and embellished it with some of the 12x12 Paper sheets. I love all the bright pinks and greens and cool drinks. Makes me want to go grab one..

I also filled the clear pockets with the ephemera packs for future journaling. Ephemera is perfect for creative journaling, it allows you to express yourself in a unique way.

The most relaxing and funniest part about my creative journaling is the preparations of my pages. I use acrylic paints, washi tape and stickers from Doodle bug Fun in the Sun.

One way I keep track of where I left off on my pages is by making planner bookmarks. They are so adorable and a great way to use up your scraps.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by the blog. Just a friendly reminder that by entering your photos on the Plan on it Challenge on the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook Group PIFF you will be entered to win one of two gift cards to the shop. You have until September 1, 2016 to enter. Good luck...

Ballerina Pink for the Win!

Hi everyone, it's me Violet. I am on the blog today to share the new Reset Girl Ballerina pink Carpe Diem Planner. I planned out my whole week using The Reset Girls Stickers. What an awesome collection it is.

Here are a few close ups of my weekly vertical layout. I am so excited about the box stickers that fit perfectly in the layout and makes it perfect for breaking up your days. Let's talk about the way to a planner girls heart, washi tape! OMG!

I absolutely Love all the vintage flair of The Reset Girl stickers. The Browns, yellows, pink and mint green are so yummy. And can we all just take a minute to admire how adorable the little scissors and camera, roller stamp and pencil stickers are! The quotes are my favorite and adds that extra special uniqueness to my planner spreads.

I am so super excited about all the new goodies that come in the boxed kits and folders. It allows me customize my planner how I like it. Pockets are my fave, I love store ephemera and stickers for that little extra planning that goes on throughout the week.

As you noticed in all of my planner spreads I love to use paperclips and was super duper happy to see that they are added to the collection and decided to use some of the stickers and ephemera to make larger one too.

There was so many photos that I took and I wish I had the time and pages to show all of you how awesome the new collections and planners are. They are even more beautiful in person. Simple Stories definitely had us planner girls in mind. Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by the blog.

Simple Stories Carpe Diem Planner Set up

Hello, everyone! Independence Day, Boom, Boom, Boom is what most of us will be hearing. Fireworks, blasting away,  it's a reminder of our freedom! It is a time to be grateful  for those who have sacrificed their freedom so that we can have ours. This is what 4th of July means to me. This Month I have used the Hero collection kit along with pocket pages.

The Elements with all the Red White and blue were perfect for this patriotic page. The elements cards are a perfect fit for my pocket pages. Below you will find the front and back decorated with Fundemental stickers and expression stickers. They added just the right amount of color and decco.

Let me introduce you to my Heroes, my Father-in-Law Tom  and my Brother George. They  both have  taken time out of their lives to ensure we have a life of our own. I am so very proud to call them my heroes.

Next you will find pockets full of patriotic goodness. I grabbed some of the stickers and ran them through a laminator, trimmed them and hot glued them to a paperclip and secured the back with a piece of felt. I measured and trimmed the paper to fit in the pockets and also used some of the cut apart elements.

The Heroes collection kit is a blast. I am so blessed to be able to live in the United States of America. I want to take this time to say thank to everyone who has fought and defended our Freedom. You all are true heroes!
