Carpe Diem at Hobby Lobby

Hello everyone, it's been a while, so glad to be back! An app I used for blogging suddenly got deleted from apple. I couldn't find one that worked. Hopefully this one will.

Too Cute to Spook!!!

My favorite Color is October! I am so glad October is here. As I sit here drinking a pumpkin spice latte and looking at my planner spread, October is what inspired me for this months for my divider set up. I used the Happy Haunting Collection Kit and had the opportunity to incorporate Just Nick digital cut files.

 

I started off by picking which digital cut file I wanted to work with and the Just Nick "31", "Happy Little Monsters', and scribbles" was perfect for what I wanted to achieve in my planner this month.

 

 I added Tabs to the dividers and I absolutely love the way they came out. It keeps everything organized and in it's place. The Orange and black with plaid and distressed paper and all the cool spooky stickers from the Happy Haunting Collection Kit was a match made in planner heaven. 

 

 

I wanted something spooky on my next divider and realized that everything was just too cute to spook! I was able to use the collection stickers and distressed wood paper and some of the Happy little monsters with scribbles to create an outside ghost Fest. 

The ghost Journaling Card made the perfect center piece on my next divider and decided he was going to be a planner nerdy ghost. Lol. 

 

Last but surely not the least is my favorite part of Creative Planning. The pockets! I know I probably mention that every time I blog, but it is so true. Once again I used the Just nick "31 and "Happy little Monsters" cut files to create paperclips. I added goggly eyes to add a little more characters to the little monsters, ghost, cat and I think they are so stinkin cute!

 

As the days get shorter and nights are longer, grab a cup of coffee and cozy up with a nice warm blanket and plan away.

I want to take this time to say a special thank you to Simple Stories and Just Nick for the privilege to use your products and create something fun and seasonal in my planner. I had a blast and will continue to use the cutting files and collection kit throughout all of October. Thank you again to everyone who took the time to stop by the blog.

October Fest!!

I am so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers, Anne of Green Gables. I love that quote.

Every time fall comes around I always remember it. This month I would love to see your October

Fest Planner spreads. Oranges, black, pumpkins, flowers, trick-or-treats, ghost, goblins, 

carnivals, hayrides, haunted houses..are just some of my inspirations for October. As I sit here 

eating candy corn, I decided I wanted to make personal dividers from several collection lines 

from the shop.

I focused more on the colors that reminded me of October. I punched out some tabs and typed 

the sections out and glued to dividers. I absolutely love making dividers and it's an awesome 

way to personalize your planner.

In the next three photos I will be showing a close up of the dividers. You will notice that I used 

one of the journaling cards from the Gather collection by Maggie Holmes and typed a scripture 

on it for my dashboard, I also noticed a spelling error. (Oops). I used stickers to add to the top 

of the dividers to add some dimension and washi tape for fun.

This, ladies is the product of my planner labor. How happy this makes me when I see my 

planner opened and ready for another Month of planning.

Happy Fall Y'ALL!!!

Happy Fall, y,all. Fall is my one of my favorite time of the years. I Couldn't wait to play around with the new Hello Fall collection. With all the Oranges, yellow, blues, and florals it makes it a perfect match for the New Posh Carpe Diem planner.

I made a dashboard and planner bookmark. I took one of the word stickers and attached it to the top and laminated them. I really enjoy doing this because it peaks out from the top of the planner and I don't have to worry about it getting ruined.

What I love most about fall are the leaves falling, pumpkin everything, family, cozy nights, boots, sweaters, scarves, hot drinks and woodland creatures. The changes of color and season makes me happy and is a beautiful reminder that change is ok and is needed. I believe I was able to add a little fall into my planner.

Breath Planner!!!!!

The Black and white with Polka-a-dots are a perfect pairing with the Rose Gold Hardware. This planner is in a Class of it's own. It's so beautiful.

I couldn't wait to decorate my planner with all the new My Prima Planner goodies. One of my favorite activities that I love to do is Creativly decorate my pockets.

I am super excited to use all the new and current Prima Products. All the pinks, floral and vintage flair compliment the Breath planner beautifully.

Although, I do like to decorate my planner, I have found that this planner is functional for everyday planning. The new My Prima Planner paperclips, sticky notes, note list pads, and stickers makes this a perfect planner for keeping my life organized!

Hello Fall! Is this Months Paper Issues Plan on it challenge!

September reminds me of Pumkin Spice and everything nice. It's the beginning of a new season, a perfect opportunity to try something new, something Bold, something Beautiful. This Month Plan on it challenge will be Hello Fall. 

I used the Fall Bouquet and Sunflower days by pebbles. I absolutely love all the the bright orange and Fall Yellows that is on the paper. I can almost feel the breeze and the leaves dancing in the wind as I was working on this planner spread. 

Colored Leaves, sweaters, scarves, hot chocolate, bonfires, boots, crisp air, pumpkin everything and cuddling under blankets are all simple pleasures of fall. I tried to capture a little bit of fall in my planner by making paperclips from pebbles accent stickers and Jen Hadfield ephemera. Mugs, Woodland creatures all have a special place in my planner.
